IPhone 4S might have location-based battery depletion
The iPhone 4S is exceedingly well-liked, and seems to just be expanding in popularity. As with all brand new products, however, the 4S is facing a few bugs and bumps in the road. Battery life complaints
The iPhone 4S, from the first few days of release, has had a severe problem. There isn’t a very great battery. The iPhone 4S’s battery is short. The 4S users are saying that it does not take any more than three hours to drain the battery halfway. Individuals don't like this. The few workarounds offered on Apple forums contain turning off or uninstalling all but the most base phone functionality, and then turning on add-ons one-by-one. Some people believe the dilemma might be automated transmissions to Apple and iCloud. It also could have to do with Calendar sync, Siri and Bluetooth.
To fix the issue
This is not at all like the Apple “Antennagate” issue. Apple is really trying to fix this one. Diagnostics will be run by Apple users that have been contracted. They will determine what the battery drain issue is. The most recent news shows that Apple has plans involving a self-checkout. This would be paired with Apple stores. An iTunes account could be used to pay for anything offered on-shelf at Apple stores, making a checkout line unnecessary. There have not been any official announcements about the system yet as details are still being developed.
